GARNET-E partner RECTAS will be holding a training workshop at their campus in Ile-Ife, Nigeria between 19th – 23rd September.

The theme for the workshop is: “Use of Space-based Technology (GMES and SAFER products) in Disaster Management and Emergency Response in West and Central Africa.”

The workshop will focus on background mapping of disasters in West and Central Africa covering various disaster types from desertification, drought and floods and will include practical, technical demonstrations.
